Paul Confield Attends OTC 2025 on Behalf of WDS
Wellbore Debris Solutions was represented at the Offshore Technology Conference 2025 in Houston, Texas by Company Director Paul Confield. His participation reflected WDS’s continued commitment to improving debris management and drilling performance across the industry.
Held from May 5th–8th, OTC 2025 provided a valuable forum for industry professionals to connect, share insights, and explore emerging trends across the upstream oil and gas sector. For WDS, it served as an opportunity to engage with operators, drilling engineers, and service partners on the evolving challenges of debris related non-productive time.
With extensive field experience and a deep understanding of downhole dynamics, Paul Confield held discussions centred around WDS’s signature technology, the Sentry Sub: a high-capacity filter sub designed to mitigate tool damage, extend BHA asset life, and reduce non-productive time associated with debris.
Paul Confield shared his thoughts: “OTC continues to deliver valuable conversations around operational reliability and efficiency. Downhole wellbore debris remains an under-addressed contributor to NPT. The feedback we received at OTC confirms the need for focused, field-proven solutions like the Sentry Sub.”
Paul’s presence underscored WDS’s practical, hands-on approach, combining reliable tool design with a commitment to helping customers extend tool life, reduce costs, and support more consistent well delivery.
WDS would like to thank everyone who connected during the event. For those who were unable to attend or would like to follow up on any discussions held at OTC, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
